Description
“Firescorched” is Sadist’s fastest, most extreme, and highly experimental album to date. It’s a breath of fresh air, thanks in part to the Italians’ debut blast beats. Combined with dark and tormented lyrics, the song captures an atmosphere of horror. The band’s distinctive style, weaving progressive death metal, jazz, and Middle Eastern influences, permeates the album. It was recorded, mixed, and mastered at Nadir Music Studios in Italy by bandleader Tommy Talamanca. The cover art was created by Paolo Puppo. Romain Goulon (ex-Necrophagist, ex-Benighted) is on drums. Jeroen Paul Thesseling (Obscura, ex-Pestilence) plays bass.
