Dark Descent Records presents a monstrous album-length split release between Brazilian legends MYSTIFIER and venomous black thrashers CRAVEN IDOL. Boasting forty minutes of blistering ire, Demystification of the Fallen Idols is an unholy fusion of two kindred forces bound by fire, blood, and blasphemy.
“After completing two European Tours with these fallen souls from the Divided Kingdom, we made a pact to forge our alliance on the Fire of Darkness and take over the whole world with our Unholy Musick!” Exclaims legendary axeman Beelzeebubth, eluding to the two joint European tours undertaken by the bands.
The split is a true testament to MYSTIFIER’s longevity across five decades of blasphemic death metal. Salvador Bahía’s infamous sons remain among black metal’s true architects, and the rituals featured within Demystification of the Fallen Idols stand tall beside their classic material.
The split also marks CRAVEN IDOL’s 20th anniversary. Born in the choking smoke of London, the Finno-British underground veterans swear allegiance to the first wave of extreme metal, carrying the fire of Forked Tongues across European and North American stages.
