We are proud to announce our cooperation with the legendary Swedish black death metal cult BLOODSTONE to reissue their classic “Hour of the Gate” LP, produced by Tomas Skogsberg. Bloodstone played blackened death metal, in a style roughly comparable to that of their fellow Swedes Necrophobic. This LP compiles the band’s two demos: the “Hour of the Gate” demo and the “Branded at the Threshold of the Damned” demo.
The LP is designed after the original 1996 Burn Records release, featuring original cover artwork. It incorporates elements from the original layout with attention to detail, even down to the logo and typeface for a touch of nostalgia. Also included are unpublished classic band photos, flyers and brand new liner notes from original founding member and guitarist Michael Samuelsson.
Originally released in 1996 and long OOP since then, fetching insane online prices, we are proud to offer this classic release once again!
